Have You Cried Over Weight Loss?

By |

Yesterday one of my clients came in for her final assessment after completing my 4 Rapid Fat Loss Program (my Seattle weight loss program – very similar to my FHM Transformation Contest.) She was is tears. She said she had been crying on her way to see me. She told me she was frustrated and disappointed in herself.

We chatted as we went through her assessment. She lost 13.5 pounds in 4 weeks. She lost almost 3 inches off her waist. She went from barely being able to get on and off the ground to doing modified burpees. On Thursday, she did two push ups on her toes. 4 weeks ago, she could barely do 2 push ups on her knees. She cut out all processed food and was cooking for the first time in her life. She is not participating in my boot camp classes with a smile on her face (most of the time) instead of a grimace indicating she hates me every minute of every class. She chats with other members of class instead of hiding in the back of the room.

All this change in 4 weeks and she’s disappointed in herself.

She thought she could have done more.

She could have exercised more and eaten less.

She could have been more focused and disciplined.

Have you ever felt this way? Have you ever been in a place where you can’t see what you HAVE done – all you can see is how much more you could have done or how much more you have to do? That was what this woman was doing. She could only see how much more she could have done and how much she had left to do to meet her final goal. She couldn’t see that she outperformed my other 23 participants on almost every level – in terms of weight lost, inches lost, performance gains, and lifestyle changes.

By the time we were done talking, she was smiling and laughing. I wanted to shake her a little – in a loving way. I just wanted her to see everything she had done to change her life and health in such a short amount of time. By the time she walked out the door, we were able to agree that she was a badass – even though she was hesitant to give herself that much credit.

Change can be hard and overwhelming and sometimes you cannot see it yourself when you’re in the middle of it. But change is what makes you better and stronger inside and out. Change makes you a badass.

If you want to make change and go into summer seeing yourself in a dramatically different light, this is your chance. . . . Sign up today for our Transformation Contest. In the next 6 weeks, you can have all the results that my lovely client had. Would you like to be crying (tears of joy) in 6 weeks because you lost 13.5 pounds and 3 inches off your waist. It is completely possible!
