Year in Review: Sweat, Fat and Volume Eating

By |

Happy last day of 2011! I hope this day is filled with some rest, relaxation and reflection for you and your family. Oh, and of course, I hope you sweat a little! It is only proper to end the year with a celebratory workout, right? Get this one done in 10
minutes:

10 Minute Sweat Fest

I was just reviewing the most popular articles on Fit Healthy Moms
this year. There were some good ones, if I do say so myself.
Here’s what you deemed the most popular posts of the year (as
evidenced by Google Analytics and Facebook Likes – the most
essential means of measuring popularity these days…)

Most Popular Workout of 2011:
This is an awesome workout that many of you have done over and over
now. You won’t burn more calories or fat in this short amount of
time with any other workout. Few workouts will bring on the
Awesome Sauce (aka sweat) more than this little gem!

Health Foods That Make You Fat:
This post was a big revelation for a lot of moms. You probably eat
some, if not most, of these foods. In fact I’d bet at least 50% of
you have already had one of these foods today (and you probably
thought you were make ing a “healthy choice”.)

Volume Eating for Fat Loss:
Tons of you have lost inches of your belly by incorporating some of
these principles for eating LOTS and LOTS of food.

How Running Saved Me From Myself:
You may or may not know that I’m a runner with a long standing
love/hate relationship with this sport that has seen me through
every moment of my adult life – the good, the bad and the ugly.
Without running I would likely be on anti-depressants and
anti-anxiety medication. No joke.

It has been a true joy to receive all the feedback from you on
these articles. Thank you for reading and commenting. Thank you
for being open to learning and changing your habits in order to
change your life. Thank you for being an awesome community of moms
who bring me joy, laughter and tears now and then. You are amazing
and I’m really grateful to be a part of your life and your health.

Cheers to all you did in 2011 and all that lies ahead in 2012!
